On November 5, a meeting was held with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Land Reclamation and Irrigation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Safdar Niazi Shahraki and the Deputy Director of the Agency for Land Reclamation and Irrigation under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Zuhurzoda Bakhrullo and the Chairman of the Secretariat of the National Commission for Irrigation and Drainage in Tajikistan. During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed to expand cooperation between the Agency for Land Reclamation and Irrigation under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Reclamation and Irrigation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Also, during the meeting, the holding of a side event by the National Commission for Irrigation and Drainage of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the 14th International Drainage Workshop in Dushanbe, which is scheduled from May 30 to June 1, 2024, was discussed.
